Web Design & Development with AI - 13 to 17 Years

Overview

This 24-week program provides a guided, project-based introduction to the world of web creation for students aged 13–17. The course emphasizes visual and game-based learning to help students understand how websites are built and functions.

Modules

Module 1 — Web Fundamentals
• How websites work, explained simply; safe browsing

Module 2 — HTML
• Basic structure, text, and images, using guided templates

Module 3 — CSS
• Colours and fonts — simple styling exercises

Module 4 — JavaScript
• Simple interactive buttons and guided mini-games

Module 5 — Modern Development Tools
• Introduction to Visual Studio Code; basic Git concepts, guided

Module 6 — Capstone Project
• Each student builds a simple personal portfolio site using a starter template

Prerequisites

  • Laptop or desktop computer (Windows 10/11 or macOS) — A phone or tablet alone is not sufficient, since students need a keyboard, mouse, and the ability to install design/coding software
  • Webcam (built-in or external)

  • Headphones (recommended, to reduce echo and background noise)
  • Stable Internet Connection
  •  Completion of Program 1 (recommended)
